Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the State and said that the spread of the virus due to the callous attitude of a few people will not be tolerated.

On some makeshift shops and street vendors not seriously following Covid-19 guidelines, CM Naveen said that such attitude 'won’t be tolerated'.

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Naveen directed to develop healthcare infrastructure in both the cities. He also directed to increase the number of ambulance services and make more ICU facility available for critical patients.

The Chief Minister also directed the police personnel, healthcare workers and civic bodies to enhance coordination to keep the pandemic under control.

The CM also directed the collectors of Jajpur, Bargarh, Khurda and Cuttack to follow Berhampur model to effectively manage and fight the battle against coronavirus.
