(image) Bhubaneswar: An earthquake of slight intensity was experienced in the State on Tuesday morning.
The earthquakes magnitude was recorded at 2.9 on the Richter scale while it hit the state at 3: 14 am today, the met department said.
The epicentre of the quake was at about 50 kms in south-south-west direction from Seismological observatory, Bhubaneswar, met department added.
No damage or injuries have been reported till now.
