School Student Including Two Killed In Accident At Baripada, 6 Injured

Baripada: Two persons including a school student were killed and six others sustained serious injuries after an auto rickshaw in which they were travelling in was hit by a truck on National Highway-49 near Bangiriposi ghati on Wednesday.

According to sources, the accident took place when the auto rickshaw carrying 12 passengers was on its way to Suliapada from Bisoi to bring rice for midday meal.

A truck hit the auto rickshaw and in the impact of the accident, it turned turtle. The intensity of the collision was so high that two persons died on the spot, sources said adding that all the injured have been shifted to a local hospital.
