Rourkela: After a long gap of 25 years, the chess team of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has repeated history by emerging as champion in the Inter Steel Chess Tournament held at Vizag from September 22 to 25.
In all, 10 teams including seven units of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) along with Tata Steel, Jindal and Host Rastriya Ispat Nigam Limited have participated in the tournament.
The RSP team comprising P.M.Mohanty, Utkal Ranjan Sahoo, Binayak Jena, P.K.Bihari and B.K.Nayak was felicitated here in a function.
