Bhubaneswar: President of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), Rahul Gandhi today approved a 31-member coordination committee of Odisha Congress (OPCC).
While Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh has been appointed Chairman, Jagannath Patnaik is the convenor of the committee.
According to sources, along with Patnaik and Singh, there are 31 members in total. Niranjan Patnaik, Taraprasad Bahinipati, Kishore Patel, Sushila Tiria, Bhakta Charan Das, Matlub Ali, Narsingha Mishra, Hemananda Biswal, Bijaylaxmi Sahu, Rudra Raju, Biswa Mohanty, Jaydev Jena, Anil Chaudhury, Srikant Jena, Mohammad Moquim, Mastan Bhali, Prasad Harichandan, Samir Rautray, Aditya Sharma, Anant Sethi, Ram Khuntia, Kanhu Lenka, Chiranjib Biswal, KP Singhdeo, Naba Das, Sarat Patnaik, Pradeep Majhi, Sibanand Ray and Shyam Sundar Hansda.
Earlier in April, AICC had named senior party leader Niranjan Patnaik as the president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC). The announcement was made through a press release issued by the AICC. Patnaik had replaced Prasad Harichandan as the OPCC president.
