Over 2000 Cured Of Covid-19 In Odisha, Active Cases Drop Below 15K
Bhubaneswar: The active cases of coronavirus in Odisha dropped below 15000 mark on Tuesday after 2010 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
After today’s recoveries, the total active cases in Odisha currently stand at 14,502.
The maximum number of 269 patients were cured of the viral infection from Khordha district followed by 164 from Cuttack, 103 from Mayurbhanj, 102 from Sundargarh, 99 from Sonepur, 89 from Keonjhar, 86 from Bolangir, 79 from Bargarh, 75 from Jajapur, 73 from Angul, 73 from Nabarangpur, 72 from Balasore, 67 from Jagatsinghpur and 65 from Kalahandi.
Similarly, 63 patients recovered from Nayagarh, 61 from Kendrapara, 53 from Sambalpur, 47 from Puri, 46 from Jharsuguda, 43 from Nuapada, 40 from Bhadrak, 38 from Dhenkanal, 30 from Koraput, 29 from Malkangiri, 27 from Kandhamal, 22 from Ganjam, 18 from Boudh, 15 from Deogarh, 7 from Rayagada and 55 from State Pool.
The total Covid-19 recoveries of the State has now reached 268115, according to the State Health department.
Earlier in the day, 1247 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Odisha, taking the positive case tally in the State to 283942. Besides, 13 fresh fatalities pushed the death toll in the State to 1272.
