Rourkela: A woman killed her husband in Gangadharpali area in Rourkela over suspicion of an extra marital affair. The victim has been identified as Prabhat Sahoo.
According to sources, Prabhat came home yesterday accompanied by a lady, which led to an altercation with his wife. In a fit of rage, Prabhat’s wife attacked him with an iron rod. Prabhat was grievously injured in the incident and was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police have conducted a post mortem of the body and have forwarded the accused wife, Asha Sahoo to court after arresting her.
"The husband and wife had an altercation over a suspected extra-marital affair of the latter. The accused then attacked her husband with an iron rod leading to his death," said IIC Upendra Pradan
