Sambalpur: PG doctors, house surgeons of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla have decided to join work from Wednesday.
According to reports, the medicos had called off their strike after SP's assurance to arrest the miscreants who ransacked college over a patient’s death.
It should be noted that the health services at the premiere medical college were hit as the PG students went on a strike demanding arrest of the main culprits who had allegedly ransacked the Casualty ward of VIMSAR and manhandled with the doctors on duty alleging medical negligence after the death of a patient on October 24.
Meanwhile, the local police have so far arrested 4 persons in related to this incident.
