Puri: With the Bahuda Yatra or the return journey of the three deities scheduled today, the district administration has taken all measures to beef up security in and around the temple.
Ahead of the Bahuda Yatra the holy town of Puri witnessed a massive rush of devotees eager to witness the Sandhya Darshan of the deities at the Adapa Mandap.
The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) had decided to allow the devotees to have the Sandhya Darshan of the Lords till 7 PM yesterday.
Earlier the devotees pulled the Darpadalana chariot of Devi Suvadra and Taladhwaja chariot of Lord Balabhadra and turned them southward in front of the Nakachana Dwara.
The Darpadalana chariot of Devi Suvadra was kept southward after the Daitapatis brought the Agyanmala of the Lords to the Ratha Chakada in the evening on Thursday. Later, the chariot of Lord Balabhadra was also pulled to the Nakachana Dwara.
