Bhubaneswar: Odia film actress Mahasweta Ray injured while shooting for ‘Jaga Hatare Pagha’, an upcoming Odia film, near Mundali bridge in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Saturday.
Sources said the actress was shooting a sequence of a song along with her costars such as Anubhav Mohanty, Minaketan and Ajit Das, among others.
The mishap left the veteran actress with a fractured leg, the sources added.
Despite the injury, the actress went on to complete the shoot.
It may be noted here that film ‘Jaga Hathare Pagha, the third venture of Tarang Cine Productions, is scheduled to release during this Dussehra.
