Balangir: The District and Sessions Court awarded a 10-year rigorous imprisonment to Alok Patnaik while convicting him for raping a three-year-old kid in 2013.
The victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at Balangir Town police station on January 15, 2013, alleging that her 3-year-old daughter was raped in Rajeev Nagar.
Patnaik was arrested and forwarded to court after a thorough probe by the police team.
