Raygada: The CBI today interrogated the Kashipur block's former Zilla Parishad member Binod Nayak in connection with Tikiri upper primary school lady teacher, Itishree Pradhan’s murder. A three-member CBI team grilled Nayak from 10 AM till 20:30 PM today.
Notably, the CBI quizzed the former head master of the school Chandra Sekhar Panda and the then Inspector of Schools Pabitra Nayak two days back in connection with the case. CBI sleuths also grilled Panda, assistant teacher of the school Jogeswar Benya and cook Sashi Bhusan Nayak.
Besides, the probe agency also interrogated the locals of Rayagada regarding the sensational murder case.
Itishree was set afire by unidentified miscreants in October 2013. She was admitted to Rayagada hospital with severe burn injuries and later shifted to Seven Hills hospital in Vishakhapatnam where she succumbed to her injuries.
