Cuttack: Only a couple of days after the robbery in a film producer’s house, miscreants today looted Rs 5 lakh from the motorcycle side box of a private company employee.
The incident took place at Mangalabag in Cuttack when the miscreants pried open the side box of the motorcycle and fled with the money.
According to the complaint filed with Police, one Kishore Chandra Raul withdrew the money from a bank at Badambadi and was returning to his office. Kishore stopped at Mangalabag to have food after parking his motorcycle in front of a hotel. While he was taking his food, two persons on a motorcycle came near the bike and broke open its side box and fled with the money.
After discovering his broken side box with missing money, Kishore lodged a complaint with the police. Meanwhile, Police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
