Bhubaneswar: With just a day to go before the Budget session of Parliament begins, the Parliamentary party meeting of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is scheduled to be held today at Chief Minister Patnaik’s residence- Naveen Nivas here on Sunday.
According to sources, the meeting, to be chaired by party supremo Naveen Patnaik, will discuss the general and rail budgets.
The meeting will be attended by party’s Members of Parliament (MPs) from both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, sources added.
Notably, BJD did not attend the pre-budget all-party meeting called by Vice President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha, M. Hamid Ansari.
