Odisha Government To Grant Promotions To 56,000 Teachers

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will soon promote nearly 56,000 teachers, informed School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday.

According to Dash, the identified teachers will be promoted and the entire process is likely to be completed by August end.

“All the pending promotions will be cleared by August end. The department’s principal secretary has already reviewed the status and as per Odisha CM’s directions, 56,000 teachers will be promoted in the State,” said Dash.

The School and Mass Education department has already started the ground work and all the required formalities would be completed within the stipulated time frame, Dash added.
