Odisha Plus-2 Science Result Date Announced, All Eyes On Marking System

Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Plus-II Science stream will be announced on August 12, informed School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday.

Speaking to reporters, Dash informed that adequate arrangements are being made by the exam conducting body- the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) for the publication of results which the students can access online including the official website of the board.

The results of Plus-II Commerce stream will be announced by the third week of August and Arts stream results by the month end, Dash said.

Earlier, the minister had announced that the Plus II Science and Commerce results will be published by the third week of August while the results of the Arts stream would be declared by the end of August.

It is pertinent to mention here that a few exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the Odisha government to come up with a new grading system to evaluate the students. Many feel that the students will be anxious to know their score under the new system adopted by the CHSE.

The School and Mass Education Minister further informed that the Class X Supplementary exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha will be held from September 14 to 22.
