Bhubaneswar: After the state government announced the reopening of Nandankanan Zoological Park from October 4, there seems to be a lot of excitement among the wildlife lovers. Keeping the COVID19 situation in view, the Odisha government today issued guidelines for reopening of zoos & deer parks.

Some of the key guidelines include:

-No entry without masks

-Priority to e-ticketing for a contactless transaction

-No entry for visitors with cold, fever, cough

-Number of daily visitors capped at 1,500 for large zoos.

-No picnic allowed in Botanical garden

 

Further, it has been advised that senior citizens and people with infants should not visit the zoo and all visitors will also have to pass through a medicated foot mat, whole body sanitizer and other sanitization installation fixed at the zoo entrance.
