Cuttack: In what could be a positive sign in the battle against COVID19, new cases in Cuttack city dropped below 100 on Monday. The latest data tweeted by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) revealed that out of the 136 new COVID19 positive cases reported in Cuttack district, 93 positive were from Cuttack city.
The city also reported 331 recoveries while no deaths were recorded in the last 24-hours.
Earlier in the day, Odisha recorded 2,617 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total positive tally to 2,35,330, as per the data shared by the Health Department.
Khordha district reported the highest 506 cases followed by Bargarh with 148 positives, Cuttack (136), Kendrapara (132), Angul (115) and Jajpur (112).
The state also saw 17 casualties which pushed the death toll in the State to 924.
