Balasore: Tension prevailed in Soro after members of a marriage party allegedly misbehaved and attacked some women passengers travelling in a bus on Friday night.
Trouble erupted after three members from the groom’s side allegedly refused to give way to a bus during the marriage procession.
There was a heated argument between passengers of the tourist bus and some youths who were part of the marriage procession. Later, the youths allegedly entered the bus and attacked women passengers.
According to reports, four women have been injured in the assault and are now undergoing treatment at hospital.
Meanwhile, police have started a probe into the incident.
