Illegal Medical Store Raided, Sealed In Balasore

Balasore: In a joint operation, the district drug department along with the Excise officials raided and sealed a medicine store at Gambharia under Bhogaria block in the district on Friday for allegedly operating illegally.

According to sources, drug inspector including officials from Excise department raided the shop named ' Ram Krishna Health Care Chemist and Druggist' and reportedly seized many important documents and medicines.

Moreover, the officials sealed the medicine store in presence of magistrate, sources said.

On the other hand, locals also alleged that the medicine store was operating illegally near the nursing home in the region.
