Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued dense fog alert for several districts of Odisha.

As per the latest IMD forecast, several parts of Odisha will experience shallow to moderate fog till January 7. Similarly, Yellow Warning has also been issued for several districts in the next 48 hours.

Here is the complete weather outlook:

Day 1 (Valid till 0830 hours of January 4)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the districts of Khurda, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Puri, Kalahandi, Dhenkanal and Jajpur.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal and Bhadrak

Day 2 (Valid From 0830 Hours of January 4 to 0830 Hours of January 5)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Khurda, Puri, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Rayagada and Kandhamal.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog warning issued for the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Kandhamal and Jagatsinghpur.

Day 3 (Valid From 0830 Hours of January 5 to 0830 Hours of January 6)

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Kandhamal, Jagatsinghpur and Nayagarh.
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to occur at one or two places over the coastal districts like Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Angul.
