Flouting COVID19 Norms, Hundreds Turn Up To Watch Football Matches In Odisha

Sambalpur/Dhenkanal: Alarming scenes were reported from Odisha showing people in large numbers watching football matches without social distancing and in complete disregard to the COVID19 norms.

Hundreds of locals in Kuchinda of Sambalpur district and Kankadahada in Dhenkanal district were reportedly spotted enjoying football matches tossing COVID19 guidelines to the wind.

Sources said, in both the places, spectators were neither seen wearing masks nor maintaining social distance.

Interestingly in Kankadahada, such violations happened in an area where a police station, Block and Tehsil offices are situated

No comments could be obtained from the concerned authorities in connection with the matter.
