Bhubaneswar: A day after Sambalpur BJP MLA Jayanarayan Mishra and his Rengali counterpart Nauri Nayak were booked by Sambalpur Police for violating COVID-19 norms; Odisha BJP on Wednesday condemned such action.

Speaking to media, Odisha BJP president, Samir Mohanty said, “What is wrong in people’s representatives meeting the district collector to discuss issues? BJP will not get scared by such highhandedness of the government.”

Reacting on the development, ruling-BJD said that the saffron party leaders have violated COVID-19 norms by taking out a rally before meeting the collector.
