Bhadrak: It was really an emotionally charged spectacle when an elderly woman in Charampa of Bhadrak district broke down while stumbling upon her doctor, who had treated her four years back.
A video, which purportedly captured the doctor-patient emotional bonding, has now gone viral on different social media platforms. In the video, the elderly woman is seen sobbing and showering her blessing on one Arjya Mishra, an orthopaedic surgeon, who had treated her.
According to reports, the elderly lady, a resident of Charampa area, had gone to Bhadrak hospital and was successfully treated by Mishra, for which the lady has been ever grateful since. The experience of meeting her saviour was so unique and special for the woman that she got emotional and narrated the story to the doctor after meeting him on the main road of Charampa today.
The video shows the surgeon consoling her and inquiring about her health condition, a sight which has won the hearts of locals.
