Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience dense fog cover, especially during early morning hours in the next two days, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday.

As per the latest weather bulletin, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha - Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Malkangiri and Koraput till January 25.

“The minimum temperature (Night temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 2- 3 degree Celsius over the districts of interior Odisha during next two days. It will remain above normal by 2-3 degree Celsius over the districts of coastal Odisha during next 2 days,” said IMD’s Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

Day 1 (Valid (valid from 1330 hrs IST of January 24 up to 0830 hrs IST of January 25, 2021)

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Sundargarh and Boudh.

Day 2: Valid (valid from 0830 hrs IST of January 25 up to 0830 hrs IST of January 26, 2021)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha. Angul, Nayagarh, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Kandhamal and Puri.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.
