Cuttack City Reports 74 New COVID19 Cases, 190 Recoveries

Cuttack: In what could be a positive sign in the battle against COVID19, only 71 new positive cases were reported in Cuttack city on Tuesday.

The latest data released by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) revealed that out of the 118 new COVID19 positive cases reported in Cuttack district, 74 were from Cuttack city.
The city also reported 190 recoveries while 3 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, said the civic body in a tweet.

Of the fresh cases, 39 were identified as local contact cases while the remaining 16 were quarantine cases.

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported 2423 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, pushing the virus tally to 254662 on Monday. Of the new cases, 1417 patients are from quarantine, while 1006 are local contact cases.
