Covid-19: Bhubaneswar Reports 316 Fresh Cases, Tally At 24,853

Bhubaneswar: With 316 more persons testing positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected persons in Bhubaneswar climbed to 24,853 on Friday.

Out of the total fresh cases, 232 were categorised as local contact cases while the remaining 84 are quarantine cases linked with earlier positive cases, according to the information shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

As many as 326 patients also recovered from Covid-19 in the capital city in the last 24 hours, the civic authorities said. So far 21214 people have cured of the disease in the city.

The active cases of infection in the city now stands at 3507 while 111 patients have succumbed to the disease so far.
