Covid-19: 314 New Infections Push Bhubaneswar's Tally To Over 24K

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Capital Bhubaneswar reported 314 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday while 354 people cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.

Of the fresh infections, 230 are local contact cases while 84 are quarantine cases linked to earlier positive cases, according to the information shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

With this, the total number of positive cases in Bhubaneswar reached 24,228 while the recovery tally jumped to 20,571. The capital city now has 3531 active cases of coronavirus while 105 people have succumbed to the virus so far.

Earlier in the day, Odisha registered 2995 fresh cases of infections and 18 fatalities. While the total number of positive cases has reached 240998, the death toll now stands at 958.
