Bhubaneswar: After a brief gap, the cold wave conditions will again sweep Odisha after New Year, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted on Monday.

As per the latest bulletin issued by IMD’s regional centre in Bhubaneswar, there will be no change in minimum temperature (night temperature) in Odisha during the next 48 hours.

“The minimum temperature will fall by 2 to 3 degree Celsius and it will be below normal by 3 to 5 degrees after December 31, 2020,” the bulletin read.

The IMD has also issued warning for several parts of Odisha which will experience intense cold wave conditions after the New Year.

Here is the complete weather outlook for the coming week:

Day 1 (Valid From 0830 Hours Of December 30 to 0830 Hours Of December 31, 2020)

Yellow Warning: Cold wave conditions likely at one or two placesover the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal.

Day 2 (Valid From 0830 Hours Of December 31 to 0830 Hours Of January 1, 2021)

Yellow Warning: Cold wave condition likely at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal.

Day 3 (Valid From 0830 Hours Of January 1 to 0830 Hours Of January 2, 2021)

Yellow Warning: Cold wave condition likely at one or two places over the dists of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal.
