Boudh: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several projects in Boudh district today. In Kantamal block of the district, Patnaik laid the foundation stone for several developmental projects worth Rs 543 crore and also distributed assistance to beneficiaries under several ongoing welfare schemes.
The CM also laid the foundation stone of the much-awaited Mahanadi bridge at Marjakuda and inaugurated several projects worth around Rs 427 crore.
Earlier on Sunday, Patnaik had laid foundation stone for 22 projects worth Rs 526 crore in Cuttack that included a flyover on Nayabazar-Madhupatna road, a bridge on Mahanga-Bagaspur road, an Omfed plant at Kendupatna and a 400-beded hostel at Sailabala Women’s College.
During the Biju Yuva Vahini programme at Cuttack, the CM also inaugurated several bridges built under the Biju Setu Yojana and piped drinking water projects under Basudha scheme.
