As per reports, Pati was out of his house yesterday when some miscreants hurled back-to-back three bombs on his house and fled the spot.

Pati was out of his house to cover COVID-19 related happenings on Thursday and it was too late in the night before he could return to his home and therefore he slept in a relative’s lodge.

“I was sleeping in the lodge when I received information about the attack from my younger brother over phone at around 12.40 am. Suspecting the hit could be on me, I immediately contacted the Konark Police Station IIC who came to the lodge and accompanied me to my house,” said Pati while narrating about the incident.

The IIC told me that the three masked assailants were intercepted by a patrolling cop near Majhipur Chhak. But they threatened the police by brandishing gun and fled the spot, added Pati.
