Two senior IPS officers promoted to ADG rank

Bhubaneswar: The state government today promoted two senior Odisha cadre IPS officers Lalit Das and Binayanand Jha to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG) rank.

According to a Home department notification, Special Secretary, Home, Lalit Das has been promoted to the ADG rank. However, he will continue in his present posting.

Besides, Binayanand Jha, who is presently posted as ADG (Law and Order) will hold additional charge of ADG (Communication), the notification added.
