Bhubaneswar: Intensifying its probe into the sting on four BJD MLAs, the Vigilance sleuths reportedly quizzed three legislators who appeared before the probe agency late on Wednesday night.
The three MLAs interrogated by the anti-corruption wing are Seemarani Nayak (Hindol), Susant Kumar Behera (Chhendipada) and Bijay Kumar Nayak (Karanjia).
However, Bhawanipatna MLA Anam Nayak did not turn up before the Vigilance for interrogation.
“The Bhawanipatna MLA did not turn up before the Vigilance. He will appear before the agency and we will record his statement soon,” Vigilance director RP Sharma said.
The anti corruption wing of Odisha police quizzed the trio about whether they have really asked for bribe from an undercover person posing as an industrialist to help set up industries in their respective constituencies or not, sources in Vigilance informed.
