Operation Muskan-III: Odisha police rescues 6 children from Mumbai

Six children in the age group of 13-16 years, were rescued by Odisha police from Mumbai in the second phase of operation Muskan III.

Bhubaneswar: Six children in the age group of 13-16 years, were rescued by Odisha police from Mumbai in the second phase of operation Muskan III. The rescued children include five boys and one girl.

While the boys had been brought to Mumbai in the pretext of providing jobs, the girl Sumitra Mallik, a native of Gajapati district, had been left by her brother at a house in Goa. Sumitra alleged before police that she was working as a maid in the house and was tortured in various ways.
