Bhubaneswar: A day after Biju Janata Dal (BJD) stormed to power for fourth successive term by winning an emphatic 117 seats in the 147-member Odisha Assembly, today was celebration time for the party’s leaders and workers alike.
Many victorious MLAs and MPs greeted BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the latter’s residence here.
Newly-elected MLAs Debashis Samantray, Pravat Biswal, Sanjay Dasburma, Pratap Jena, Priyadarshi Mishra, Sashi Bhushan Behera, Ashok Panda, Badri Narayan Patra, who visited the CM, credited him for the party's poll success. MPs Baijayant Panda and Prasanna Patsani also greeted Patnaik.
