Bhubaneswar: The temptation of watching Bahubali- 2 proved to be the undoing of a most-wanted ATM robber who was arrested by the Commissionerate police while watching the movie in a theater here today.
Sambhav Acharya, who is wanted in over 50 cases of theft & loot from ATMs, had come to watch Bahubali- 2 movie when he was arrested by special squad of the Commissionerate Police.
According to reports, the police team scooped upon Sambhav during interval break of the movie when the latter had come out to buy some snacks. The cops also seized some cash and ATM cards from his possession.
DCP Satyabrata Bhoi said Sambhav is involved in over 50 ATM loot incidents. Several cases are pending against him at various police stations in Bhubaneswar and other districts. He was earlier arrested by the Khandagiri police for similar offence.
