Cuttack: Commissionarate Police have nabbed four youth in connection to a firing in CDA here, official sources informed on Sunday.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sheikh Qadir of Buxi Bazar area, Chandan Prasad who hailed from Bania Sahi area, Sheikh Shahid of Pension Line area and Sheikh Abdullah, a resident of Kesharpur area.
The four youth were arrested for allegedly shooting at one Line Gupta on 17 August evening in Sector-7 area of CDA.
Gupta was attacked while he was busy discussing with his friends about the upcoming Ganesh Puja near a Ganesh temple. However, the accused had missed the target.
