Puri: The Pahandi rituals of the Trinity have completed and the sibling deities are seated atop their respective chariots after coming out of the Gundicha temple in Dhadi Pahandi or line procession for the Bahuda Yatra today.

Amid ‘Jai Jagannath’ and ‘Hari Bol’ chanting, Lord Sudarsan was first brought out and servitors soon carried Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath who came swaying out of the Nakachana Gate of Gundicha temple amid intense spiritual fervour.

After an eight-day stay in the Gundicha temple, the divine siblings will return in their three respective chariots to the Srimandir.

While way back home, the Trinity will halt at the Mausima temple where the deities will be offered ‘poda pitha’ made of rice, jaggery, coconuts and lentils.

Devotees will pay obeisance to the deities seated on their chariots during the ‘Suna Besha’ tomorrow.
