Bhubaneswar: At least 22 persons from Bhubaneswar were injured as the bus they were travelling in, turned turtle near Gokarnapur village in Digapahandi of Ganjam district this morning.
The injured have been rushed to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
The passengers- all of them residents of Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar, were on their way to the Bankeswari Peetha in Ganjam district. Sources said that the bus lost control and overturned near Gokarnapur village.
In a separate incident, eight persons sustained injuries after the bus carrying passengers overturned at Lambabali Ghati in Gugurumaha of Kandhamal district this morning. They were later admitted to a hospital for treatment.
