Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered its highest ever single-day COVID-19 recovery on Sunday with 2129 more patients recuperating from the disease. The total number of recoveries in the State has jumped to 54405 in the state.

As per the information provided by the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department, the highest 276 number of recovered cases were reported from Khordha followed by Ganjam with 265 and Sundergarh at 178 recoveries.

Similarly, Cuttack district, which has been suffering with a surge in COVID positive cases lately, recorded 172 recoveries on Sunday.

Details of the recoveries reported on Sunday:

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported a record 2993 new COVID-19 positive cases in last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 78530 in the State.
