Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 graph of Bhubaneswar continued its upward trend with 87 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Among the latest cases, 41 are detected from various quarantine centres while remaining 46 cases are local contacts, as per the information shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

With this, the total positive case count in the capital city rose to 1130 including 624 active cases, 494 recoveries and 11 deaths.
A day earlier, the capital city recorded highest-ever total of 124 cases of coronavirus including 72 from quarantine centres and 52 local contact cases.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll in Odisha mounted to 86 today with three more persons succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours. Odisha’s COVID-19 tally reached 16,701 after detection of 591 new cases in the last 24 hours.
