Bhubaneswar: With 354 new COVID19 positive cases getting detected in the last 24 hours, the total cases in the city rose to 23,230, according to the data shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the fresh cases, a whopping 246 were local contact cases while the remaining 108 were quarantine cases, the civic body said in a tweet.

Bhubaneswar also registered 318 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries in the city currently stand at 19, 573.
Earlier in the day, Covid-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 907 with 15 more fatalities while the cumulative caseload rose to 232713 with the detection of 3326 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Khordha reported the maximum of 638 new novel coronavirus cases followed by Cuttack with 268 positives. Apart from them, 11 other districts reported 100-plus cases.
