Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday crossed 26,000 mark after 281 new cases of novel-Coronavirus infections were reported in the last 24 hours in the city. It is for the third consecutive day that the daily COVID-19 cases reported Bhubaneswar remained below 300-mark.

Of the new 281 COVID-19 cases, 192 are local contacts and 89 quarantine cases, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed through a tweet.

With this the cumulative COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar has reached 26,016. The active case load in the city stands at 3348 while death toll due to the disease remains at 122.

As many as 2275 new cases of SARS-nCoV were reported from Odisha in the last 24 hours with seven districts reporting a daily surge of 100 plus positive cases. Khordha district recorded 364 new positives, followed by Sundargarh (150), Cuttack (144), Angul (136), Balasore (111), Mayurbhanj (110) and Jharsuguda 100 cases.
