Bhubaneswar: With detection of 81 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, the total virus tally in the capital city rose to 29,153, according to the data shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the fresh cases, 62 are local contacts while the remaining 19 are from quarantine, the civic body said in a tweet.

Bhubaneswar also registered 226 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries in the city currently stand at 27,543.
Earlier in the day, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally went up to 2,90,116 on Saturday. Of the fresh cases, 853 patients are
from quarantine, while 617 are local contact cases, informed State I&PR department.
The death toll in the State has climbed to 1320 with 12 more fatalities in the last 24 hours.
