Balasore: The user trial of nuclear-capable strategic ballistic missile Agni-IV, capable of hitting a target at a distance of 4,000 kms, was conducted from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Dr Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast today. The sophisticated surface-to-surface missile is 20 meter long and weighs 17 tonnes.

The user trial was conducted at around 8: 30 AM today and the first trial was conducted on November 11, official sources said.
