Bhubaneswar: All committees of the Pradesh Congress (state Congress) will be reorganised by the end of this month, said the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) working president Pradeep Majhi, on Monday.

Speaking to media, Majhi said, "As promised, the Odisha Congress in-charge Chellakumar has appointed all district presidents. Efforts are on to form block level committees, panchayat committees and booth committees to strengthen the party at the ground level."

"A meeting of the newly appointed district presidents will be held on October 21 and further course of action to strengthen the party will be discussed during the meeting," Majhi added.

"We have faith in OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik and will be successful if we all work shoulder to shoulder," the Congress leader further said.

Speaking on the party's strategy for the by-polls in Balasore and Tritol assembly constituencies, Majhi said, "Chellakumar will be on a four-day visit of Odisha, starting tomorrow. He along with the star campaigners will take part in the campaigning."
