Aditya Dash Case: Mother Reiterates ‘Psycho Woman’ Angle

Bhubaneswar: The death case of Aditya Dash seems to be taking new twists and turns with each passing day. Bringing new twist into the investigation, mother of the social activist today echoed with her husband's allegations that the ‘psycho woman’ might have a big role in Aditya's death.

She alleged that a woman used to threaten to kill herself and pursued relentlessly to marry Aditya.

“The girl was threatening that she would kill herself by slitting her wrist if he (Aditya) does not marry her. However, my son did not agree to it and married Bidyashree. She behaved like a psycho and cursed my son to die of Coronavirus,” alleged Aditya’s mother, Padmalaya Dash,

She added that the said girl also threatened them of grave consequences.

Aditya’s father, Nandi Kishore Dash a couple of days back had claimed the same and alleged that the psycho woman was blackmailing and wanted to marry him.

However Aditya’s friend Bikash yesterday revealed that he had an affair with the lady. He claimed that Aditya had introduced him to the girl as his girlfriend and she even visited his old-age home.

Body of Aditya Dash was found on the railway tracks near Lingaraj Temple Station on July 7, and it’s been almost two months that an investigation has been initiated by GRP and Crime Branch.

Later in the day, the girl who was called as a psycho, opened up and refuted the allegations that she is mentally ill. She also claimed that she was not in a one-sided love affair with Aditya.

Responding to her claims, Aditya's wife Bhagyashree alleged that the 'psycho woman used to blackmail Aditya and was mentally torturing him.'
