4 Critical In Ganjam Factory Explosion

Berhampur: As many as three employees and an engineer sustained serious injuries in an explosion in a steam pipe at Grasim Industries Ltd here on Tuesday morning.

All the injured were rushed to MKCG Hospital. Later one of them was shifted to Bhubaneswar after his condition worsened.

Irate over the incident, other employees staged a dharna on the premises of the company alleging that the firm is least bothered about their safety after an ambulance delayed in reaching the spot to carry the victims to hospital.

Meanwhile, the authorities of the company have ordered a probe into the matter and said action will be taken those who will be found guilty.
