Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan today said the drought-like situation in Odisha is ‘man-made’ and held the State government responsible it.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Harichandan demanded waiver of loans of farmers and school fee of students in the drought-affected areas.
Besides, he asked for waiver of Kharif crop loans, water tax and revenue collection.
Harichandan also lambasted Odisha government on power cuts in the State.
