Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 recovery graph continued to move upwards steadily with 1,800 more patients getting cured of Coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the cumulative COVID-19 recoveries in the state reached 2,73,838 on Friday.

As per the information provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Khordha district reported the maximum 233 COVID-19 recoveries Friday.


Similarly, 148 patients recovered from Cuttack, 100 from Nuapada, 94 from Mayurbhanj, 81 from Anugul, 76 from Sundargarh, 74 from Keonjhar, 72 from Baleswar, 69 from Puri, 66 from Jajapur, 65 from Bargarh, 62 from Kendrapara, 61 from Bolangir, 60 from Bhadrak, 60 from Jagatsinghpur, 53 from Nabarangpur, 44 from Koraput, 42 from Kalahandi, 40 from Jharsuguda, 35 from Dhenkanal, 35 from Malkangiri, 35 from Sambalpur, 29 from Ganjam, 29 from Kandhamal, 29 from Sonepur, 27 from Nayagarh, 12 from Rayagada, 8 from Deogarh, 7 from Gajapati, 6 from Boudh and 48 from State Pool.

Earlier in the day, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally went up to 2,88,646 on Friday after 1547 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. cases. Of the 1547 new cases, 891 COVID-19 cases were reported from quarantine centres while 656 are local contact cases, informed State I&PR department.

The COVID-19 death toll in the State climbed to 1308 with 11 more fatalities in the last 24 hours.
